Our office provides a full range of dental treatments, including preventative, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry.

Preventative dentistry is our goal for every patient. It involves the daily care, good nutrition, and periodic checkups and cleanings that maintain good dental health.  Preventive dentistry may not be where we start with every patient, but it’s where we like to finish.

Young visitors are important to our practice. We welcome first appointments as early as age two. Because early dental visits help determine life-long health attitudes, we go slowly and take all the time your child needs to feel comfortable, to encourage curiosity, to make a friend. With good health habits instilled at a young age, your child’s dental future can be bright, indeed. We are proud to introduce a new children’s reward program at Parkview Dental.  Our younger patients up to the age of 13 years old are eligible for this program.  A patient who receives a good oral hygiene report with no cavities from the dentist during their routine check up visit will be eligible to put their name into monthly drawing for a fun prize.   Your child’s oral health is important to us and Parkview Dental wants to reward our younger patients who strive to keep their teeth and gums healthy and cavity free.

Restorative dentistry is the basic repair of the mouth. We treat decay, mend broken or leaking fillings, build crowns and bridges, fit partial and full dentures, realign your bite. Where necessary, gum disease is treated, or root canal therapy recommended.  The prevailing belief behind restorative dentistry is a simple one: you can keep all your teeth for the rest of your life.

Single visit crowns (CEREC) is a sophisticated CAD/CAM system for the production of all-ceramic crowns. Some of the benefits of this technology include:  one visit, no impressions, no temporaries, metal-free, highly aesthetic and long lasting.  Modern CAD/CAM technology with CEREC makes this possible.  At your next dental visit, ask us about CEREC crowns and we’ll be glad to advise you on the best choice for you!

Sleep Wellness Program is available at Parkview Dental. . Do you or a family member have problems with snoring?  Are you tired or sleepy during the daytime?  Has anyone observed you stop breathing or choking or gasping while sleeping? Unable to tolerate CPAP? Our doctors have noticed that a large number of our patients have some form of sleep disordered breathing.  Considering the dangers that are associated with this, we offer a consultation to further discuss sleep and how to help you get more well rested sleep.

Six Month Smiles is a short term adult orthodontic procedure that will straighten your front teeth in approximately six months. Everyone should smile with confidence. No more metal braces or wires, finally there is an affordable option that will give you that smiling confidence.

Clear Correct offers one of the most comfortable and clear aligners designed to improve the appearance of your smile by gradually moving your teeth through a series of comfortable, virtually invisible aligners that are easy to put in and take out.  The result is an improved smile without the hassles of traditional braces.

Migraine Headache Treatment (NTI device) is the first dental device to be cleared by the FDA for the prevention of medically diagnosed migraine pain.

Cosmetic dentistry is coming of age with new materials and procedures that make a beautiful smile accessible to everyone. Because our preventive and restorative programs have been so successful, we now have the luxury of considering cosmetic treatment for gaps, chips, and otherwise less-than-perfect smiles.

3D Dental Imaging Sirona(also known as Cone Beam Computed Tomography, or CBCT) allows your dentist  to see more anatomy, and with more clarity than traditional film-based dental x-rays. The focused x-ray beam reduces scatter radiation, resulting in better image quality and a lower dose of radiation. With an enhanced visualization of your teeth, bones, and surrounding hard and soft tissue, your doctor will understand more about your diagnosis and treatment plan.

Digital radiography (x-rays) benefits both the patient and the environment. One major benefit of digital radiography is that it uses 90% less radiation than conventional x-rays. The “film” used is actually a sensor that sends the x-ray image directly to a computer where the image is instantaneously displayed on a screen. Patients can view images on a large computer screen instead of the small, dark conventional x-ray film, which allows patients easier identification and education regarding any dental concerns. For a better diagnosis, these digital images can be magnified 300 times, made lighter or darker, can highlight specific areas and the contrast within the images can be clarified for sharpness. These images can be E-mailed to specialists for instant consultations or printed for patients to take home. There are no harmful processing chemicals to handle or dispose of, and there is no film to mount. Digital images will be stored in the computer, making paper charts obsolete.

What Can You Do To Whiten Your Smile?

Interested in learning about how you can brighten your smile? Whitening or bleaching are options that can help! Parkview Dental offers several different ways to do this:

IN-OFFICE XTRA BOOST –  Professional results—in about an hour. For a brighter, whiter smile without the wait, choose Opalescence Boost, an in-office, chemically activated whitening treatment that offers results in less than an hour. It’s ideal for people who want instant whitening gratification or those who have that special event coming up that requires a bright, white smile.  At home whitening go trays will be included for at home use.

CUSTOM TRAY WHITENING – Impressions of your teeth will be taken that will allow for custom trays to be made for your whitening procedure. Your custom trays should be worn once a day for 60 minutes for two weeks with Opalescence tooth whitening gel that contains PF (potassium nitrate and fluoride), which helps maintain the health of enamel throughout the whitening process.

Our Opalescence Go take-home whitening kits give you the professional results you want in the comfort of your own home.  A take-home whitening kit includes 10 preloaded trays with a 15% bleaching solution.  The result? A bright, beautiful smile that can make you look years younger and give you a confidence boost each time you look in the mirror!

PORCELAIN VENEERS OR CROWNS – Thin porcelain laminate or cover that changes the shape and color of existing teeth.
