Glencoe’s Cub and Boy Scouts collected a total of 3069 lbs of food this past Saturday November 9, 2013 to help fill the shelves of Glencoe’s food shelf. Way to go! That’s a lot of food…. but this will not last long. The food shelves of Glencoe and Hutchinson are in great need. Personal care products such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss,shampoo, soap, and diapers are items most in need of at this time.
Parkview Dental patients are helping to fill the shelves also. Patients bringing in food shelf items to Parkview Dental during the month of November are given a full size tube of Crest Pro-Health toothpaste in return for their donation. All collected food will be donated to the Hutchinson and Glencoe food shelves. Thank you Scouts and Parkview Dental patients for making a difference in our communities.
